MSXML is something you probably never hear of but use every day. It is “a set of services that allow applications written in JScript, VBScript, and Microsoft development tools to build Windows-native XML-based applications” according to Wikipedia. In other words, software that is written to integrate with windows use this tool within its development. Care needs to be taken before upgrading to the latest version of the MS Windows operating system, Windows 10, if you use a version of Intuit Quickbooks at your company older than 2015. Quickbooks 2016 is the only version officially supported on Windows 10. This means that if you are using an older version of Quickbooks at your company and then select the Free upgrade to Windows 10 you may find yourself faced with an unexpected and potentially costly upgrade to Quickbooks.
